Holm Oak Trimming and Tree Removal, Maidenhead

Beechwood Tree Care In Maidenhead: Holm Oak Tree Reduction

Welcome to another day logging our tree adventures, this time in the stunning area of Maidenhead. For this project, our team trimmed and reduced a group of holm oaks, making them blend seamlessly with a beech hedge underneath to deliver a neater, more appealing landscape for our client.

You can see our team in action with the above video or keep reading to learn more about our Holm Oak Tree reduction process and the care we provide to our clients.

The Art of Tree Reduction

For this Holm Oak tree reduction, we had a specific request from our client. They had requested that we trim back the holm oaks to match the Beech hedge that was already present in their landscape.

This request wasn’t just for the aesthetic appeal of the landscape, but also to enhance the health of the trees and the safety of the surrounding environment. By trimming back the Holm Oak, the tree was no longer pushing up against the fence and causing issues with the structure of our client’s landscape.

It also offered a more seamless and precise appearance to the whole landscape, which is something our client greatly appreciated.

To meet their request, we trimmed and reduced the oak trees to make them part of the hedge. As you can see from the video, the reduced trees may look sparse in some areas, but this is all part of the plan.

With Beechwood Trees, we do not just provide instant results – we also care about the longevity of your landscape.

For this project, we left these sparse areas to ensure a better appearance in the future. With time and regular trimming, the oaks will fill out and create a stunning, dense hedge that matches the existing Beech hedge in this landscape.

Tree Removal with Precision

As persistent as trees can be, it sometimes becomes necessary to remove them.

In this case, two trees were encroaching on the fence which could have caused serious damage to our client’s landscape, as well as ongoing safety issues.

To avoid any damage, we skillfully delivered a Holm Oak tree reduction, leaving the fence untouched and providing a seamless appearance to the landscape by matching the trees with the existing hedge.

A Third Tree and Eco Plugs: Preventing Regrowth

During this Holm Oak tree reduction, we not only had to trim and reduce the two fence-adjacent trees, but we also found it necessary to remove another tree in the garden.

To prevent any regrowth, once the tree had been removed, we used eco plugs – a reliable method to poison the stump without causing harm to the surrounding environment. This process is environmentally friendly and ensures that the removed tree won’t make an unexpected comeback, so you can rest assured your landscape is going to remain safe and clear.

Conclusion

While transforming trees into a hedge or removing them entirely may seem daunting, at Beechwood Trees, we ensure every job is handled professionally. Our team handles all tasks with the utmost care for the trees and surrounding property, ensuring we leave the environment in a better state than we found it.

As you can see from this project, our care for the environment results in a satisfying blend of nature and neatness – a harmony that can only be achieved when experts like us are at work.
